Welcome

Situated at the south-eastern tip of the Italian peninsula, Apulia has about 800 kilometers of coast and is one of the Italian regions with longer coastline. From the Ionian Sea - in the east - to the Adriatic Sea – in the southeast – you can find stretches of rocky coast (as in Gargano), cliffs (in the South of Bari and Lecce), as well as sandy beaches (such as along the Gulf of Taranto). In 2010 the Ministry of Health declared that 98% of the coasts in Apulia are suitable for bathing.

The sea of Apulia is famous for those who seek a holiday full of charm and excitement, adventure, relax and wellness. It's a really nice area to spend your holidays characterized by relax and good taste. Art, folklore, festivals and good food make this land one of the most welcoming Italian regions.

There are a lot of natural attractions, such as the National Park of Gargano or the High Murgia, just as a lot of places of architectural interest such as Otranto, Lecce, Gallipoli, Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano a Mare, and many other exciting places where you can find buildings in Romanesque and Gothic style, as well as the florid Baroque of Lecce. The climate is Mediterranean. The coastal and flat areas are characterized by hot and windy summers.
